NASCAR Cup Series Weekend Tent Space

NASCAR Championship Weekend returns to Homestead on November 6 to 8, with Friday opening the schedule and Sunday set for the Cup Series Championship. Here is what to know before the weekend and how to shape the rest of the night around your ticketed stop.

NASCAR Championship Weekend is back at Homestead Miami Speedway in 2026, and Friday matters because it opens the championship weekend rather than closing it. The Cup Series finale is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, while Friday, November 6, brings the start of the title stretch with championship racing already on the card. If you are headed to the Speedway for the weekend, this is the point to sort out the rest of the evening around your stop.

Why this matchup matters

This date stands out because NASCAR Championship Weekend is scheduled to return to Homestead in 2026, with Friday serving as the opening day of the championship slate. The Cup Series Championship is scheduled for Sunday, November 8, and the weekend also includes the Craftsman Truck Series Championship race on Friday and the O’Reilly Auto Parts Series championship race on Saturday. That makes Friday an important part of the title weekend, even though it is not the Cup Series finale.

Where both teams stand

NASCAR Championship Weekend is scheduled for November 6 to 8, 2026, at Homestead-Miami Speedway in Homestead, Florida. The championship weekend is returning to Homestead in 2026, and Friday, November 6, is the opening day of that weekend.

What to expect in Homestead, FL

For this Friday stop, expect the championship weekend to be underway rather than wrapped up, with the Truck Series title race part of the day’s racing story. The broader weekend also points toward Saturday’s O’Reilly Auto Parts Series championship race and Sunday’s Cup Series Championship, so Friday sets the tone for the title run at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

With the championship weekend set at Homestead, the rest of your night can be built around the Speedway with the right stay, food, and arrival plan in place.
