Miami hosts Cleveland in an Emirates NBA Cup group-play matchup. Here’s what to know before tipoff, plus a simple way to build out the night around it.
The Miami Heat and Cleveland Cavaliers are in East Group B for the Emirates NBA Cup 2026. The group-play schedule runs from Oct. 30 through Nov. 27, with every team playing four games in its group, one against each opponent. Group-play results determine who advances to the knockout rounds, where eight teams move on to single-elimination play.
Why this matchup matters
This game stands out because it is part of the 2026 Emirates NBA Cup group stage, not a playoff or postseason contest. Miami and Cleveland are both in East Group B, and that structure gives the matchup added weight inside the group-play schedule.
