Ben Seidman’s Con Man is set for two Broward Center performances on November 7, 2026, with a show built around magic, storytelling, true crime, and comedy. Here is how to read the night and shape the rest of it around the 2:00 p.m. Matinee.
Con Man matters now because it turns a magic show into a live look at deception itself. Set for November 7 at the Abdo New River Room, the Broward Center date puts Ben Seidman’s sleight of hand, true crime framing, and stand-up comedy into one performance that is built to keep the audience guessing.
Why this event is worth your night
This date stands out because the Broward Center bills Con Man as a one-person show that blends magic, storytelling, true crime, and stand-up comedy. The venue also says audience members may experience pickpocketing and mind-reading, which makes the format feel more interactive than a standard stage set.
The story right now
The Fort Lauderdale engagement is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, 2026 at the Abdo New River Room at the Broward Center, and it is part of the Broward Off Center series. The Broward Center listing shows two performances that day, at 2:00 p.m. And 7:30 p.m., with Ben Seidman as the solo performer.
What to expect in Fort Lauderdale, FL
The Broward Center recommends the show for ages 12 and up and notes adult language or content, so the tone is set for a sharp, theatrical night rather than a family matinee in the usual sense. Seidman is identified by the venue with Netflix, Vanity Fair, and Now You See Me, and the page also notes appearances on Vanderpump Rules, WIRED, and Penn & Teller: Fool Us.
With the show set, the rest of the night can be built around the kind of outing that fits your pre-show meal, post-show plans, or an overnight stay in Fort Lauderdale.
